In most Swiss SMEs without their own IT department, access management runs on the side. A spreadsheet here, a few emails there, and in between the good memory of the office manager.

That works – until it does not. Until Mark leaves and nobody knows where he still has access. Until an audit happens and the question comes up who is allowed to access which data.
